Hello, and Happy April!
Even though there is still plenty of anxiety producing news in the world, flowers, trees, and hope are blooming in Seattle. These last few months I have felt a bit like a daffodil bulb, growing and changing during the dark days of winter. Now, with warmer weather and longer days, it feels like Spring might be here to stay! It also feels like time to burst out of hibernation and share what is “blooming” in my world with you.
A company called Subkit asked if they could feature me in their “Go Solo” interview series. They are interviewing small business entrepreneurs specializing in Special Diets & Health and Wellness.
In this article I am excited to share some of my internal “daffodil bulb” insights and why I’m passionate about the work I do with my clients. There are also a few discoveries around building my business, Living the Good Life Gluten Free.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview:
“My background is in opera and theater. I am very comfortable playing someone else in front of hundreds of people. While this is a great skill to have, making the transition to “playing myself” in public was a much more profound shift.
Over the last two years, I have had the opportunity to work deeply on myself with some amazing coaches and mentors. Learning how to be visible and vulnerable at the same time has taken my ability to support my clients to the next level. “
